Kisaragi Kaoru is a member of Anthos*. His image color is blue . He's called the Prince of Anthos* and has the position as one of the unit's Main Vocal.
Appearance[]
He has short dark blue, almost black, hair which is parted in the middle and light blue eyes. His main outfit consists of a white shirt with a blue collar, a black tie, a patterned white jacket with blue accents, white pants with a pattern on the left leg to match the jacket, black gloves, and white high cut sneakers with blue soles and laces. A large golden flower pattern is on the left side of his jacket. He also wears one long silver earring on his left ear.
Personality[]
Kaoru is serious and cooperative, a knightly prince who is polite to everyone. Due to his kind personality, he tends to get himself caught up in many different circumstances. He's worried about looking older than he actually is because of his mature nature. He's the most cooperative of all of the Anthos* members, so powerfully working behind-the-scenes comes naturally to him thanks to his gentle personality
Background[]
When he was young, Kaoru was very sickly and often was in the hospital, so he was not able to attend school and make friends. He spent a lot of his time sleeping and frequently witnessed patients who, at first, were energetic and lively, but then ended up either going to the operating room, or passing away. Because of this, Kaoru instinctively grows a lot of concern when he sees someone feeling pain or sickness. According to him, in recent years, his illness has completely subsided, and he no longer has any current health issues.

In the manga, it was revealed that he used to suffer from a severe heart defect, and the doctors did not expect him to ever recover. He never knew if he'd wake up again after falling asleep. In the stage play, it was also revealed that the reason he always uses formal language is because at the hospital, he was surrounded by only adults and never got to meet or befriend someone his age.
The graveness of his illness combined with the fact that he was the only one to not experience any pain upon his flower blooming and gets treated as an "exceptional case" by the facility's doctors strongly imply that his heart disease might have not been healed through natural means but through the seed, which would mean Kaoru had already gotten the implant before joining the agency. This would also explain why his former family doctor - Lihito's adoptive father - is now affiliated with Amagiri Production as leader of the medical team, and why his parents wanted him to sign up for the auditions.
Kaoru’s parents were the ones who sent in an application for him to enter an idol audition. He initially did not have much interest in idols, which explains why, unlike the rest of Anthos, he is unfamiliar with their senior group, Loulou*di. He also initially felt inferior to everyone else when he first met them and questioned if he truly belonged in Anthos. However, he now feels glad that he was accepted into Anthos and wants to properly pursue his path as an idol along with everyone else. He has expressed that he wishes to be an idol in order to morally support those who feel hopeless in life, like how he used to feel when he was young.
"It had also been my family’s wish, but after I got healed, I thought that if I became an idol, maybe I’d be able to become a person that could bring happiness to those who are just as hopeless and lonely as I was back then. I want to be able to stand by the others, yet even here all I’m doing is making people worry and help me…"

- His first name 薫 means "aroma, fragrance", his last name 如月 ("like the moon") is the old Japanese name for the second month of the lunar calendar, hence the MVs use the moon as a symbol for him opposing that of Haruta as the sun.
